  1. This video message really open your eyes and mind to all the different details on what many people deal with I never new of all the different terms discussed in the video especially when you're growing up only thing that are discussed were either heterosexual, lesbian, or gay, bisexual not even then was the term I agree with her when she said no gender is valid than the other and her break down of your sex is between the legs and your gender is between your eyes which explains how the individual identify with an that their sexual orientation is between the sheets that is a great way to explain all the different terms and details she gave. The video message also helps you to understand how much the world has changed and how our society has to be aware of all the different terminology discussed in the video for the simple fact I like many others see some and think oh he\she is.... but all along could be very mistaken cause you can't judge a book by the cover! 1. I grew up with this very same statement, “You can’t judge a book by its cover”, and to remember that there is always an interesting story that might be shared. I have heard many of the terms in my lifetime, sometimes with respect, more often with anger and even violence. People were still coming to terms with their own sexuality, or gender, they often were insensitive to those who had found themselves and were able to live the way they wanted. The way she explained sexual orientation is truly the best way I have heard it defined. I believe that much of what was discussed and defined by this video will help others begin to understand that there is more to being sexually oriented than whether you like her or him. People need to begin to live together regardless of gender. There are so many issues these days, that being able to be who we want to be should not be something that others should have any say or rule over. Seoulman005

  2. This was a simple and genuine video that should be viewed and often. You have a young woman, who is extremely comfortable with her gender and sexuality explaining how labeling and understanding the terms used can make you more aware of people and their preferences. The young woman was thoughtful about the many “pronouns” that can be used to describe yourself to others and to be that much more sensitive to their feelings and beliefs. She was trying to make keep it light without offending but at the same time she was giving us information that would help with coping with the odd situation, or first time meeting. I grew up in the time frame of “straight vs. gay”, if you were different you were “queer”, that a man and a woman were the only correct couple. This was also at the time when the sexual revolution was starting to kick into high gear. People were coming out, swinging, coming to terms or grips with their sexuality and deciding what gender truly meant. The world was changing, people were learning about sexuality and the differences that were coming to the forefront of the community’s awareness. At times, I wondered how it could be so difficult to be who wanted to be without all the commotion about this way of thinking or who you liked. Being a kid in this era could be very confusing, if not dangerous. I look at a person as a person, not trying to judge, just accepting them for who they are. Seoulman005
